Welcome to Playa Grande Surf Villas! A tranquil oasis welcomes you home after an epic day of surf and adventure.

Included in your stay is a 24/7 Concierge service to ensure the ultimate Costa Rica experience.

Our "Surf Villas Packages" are a unique way to immerse yourself in the Pura Vida lifestyle, offering surfboard and bike rentals, as well as yoga, exercise, and surf-stretch sessions. These are available to reserve upon confirming your stay.

The space

Villa Luna offers 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed and private bath. Each room is separate and private with its own individual entrance, alongside a fully equipped al fresco kitchen and chilled plunge tub.

There are three Villas available for rent on the property. Use of the exercise deck and equipment is shared with the other Villas.

Guest access

You have exclusive access to your Villa, plunge pool, and portion of the property.

The Villas share access to the yoga + exercise deck as well as the bikes and boards storage area, both are located in a common space between the Villas.

Other things to note

Included in your stay is your 24/7 Concierge service, CR Concierge.

They are available for anything you need prior to and during your stay, and will help plan your itinerary should you wish to book adventures + excursions, a private chef, on-site massage, surf lessons, or grocery delivery.

If you choose to book a Surf Villas package with us, we require each guest to sign a waiver prior to check-in. Pricing is below, and a booking portal will be shared with you at the confirmation of your stay.

For first come, first serve access during your stay:
Bike Access: $60 per Villa
Board Access: $60 per Villa
Bike+Board Access: $100 per Villa ($120 Value)
Bike+Board+1 yoga/fitness/or surf stretch class per Villa: $160 ($200 Value)

  2. How many people will be in your group?  Please provide their ages so we can recommend activities that will suit every member of your group.

We are 10 meters past bahia swimwear in playa grande. Once you go past Bahia swimwear, on the right youll see a gate with a bienvenidos sign that says "PG Surf Villas", drive through the gate and we are at the very end of the road with a big brown gate that says “Playa Grande Surf Villas”

- Only eco-friendly chemicals are allowed for  cleaning

-NO glasses at the pool

-Quiet hours: 10 PM - 7 AM

-Please dispose of toilet paper, feminine products, baby wipes, etc in the trash can as Costa Rican septic systems are delicate.

Las Catalinas: New beach community with beach club, restaurant, walking, and bike trails. Google map
Flamingo: Famous for its turquoise sea and white sand. With a restaurant facing the sea called Coco Loco. Google map
Conchal: This beach is famous for its white sand and turquoise sea. The waves are very calm giving security and entertainment such as snorkeling and Jet Skiing. Google map
Playa Grande: Las Baulas National Marine Park, has restaurants, a spectacular beach, and incredible waves. We recommend bringing an umbrella for shade. Google map
Playa Carbón: It is a small black sand beach that is part of the Las Baulas National Marine Park, which also protects Playa Grande and Playa Ventanas, an extensive coastal area where the leatherback sea turtles spawn.
From the west of Playa Grande you can walk to the Ventanas and Carbón beaches. Also, you can ascend the Cerro el Moro (Cabo Velas), bordered by platforms and rocky cliffs, in which, while the tide goes out, it is possible to observe small and colorful minnows. Google map


Bahia Piratas: Beautiful beach with turquoise water, white sand, and not crowed. Great for long walks, fish, and swimming.  Google map
Ventanas Beach: It is the beach that continues to the north of Playa Grande. Google map
Tamarindo: This beach is located in one of the most commercial areas of Guanacaste. It has shops, supermarkets and many restaurants. Google map
Langosta: The beach that follows Tamarindo white sand, access is through Tamarindo, it has a restaurant and a mini-supermarket. Google map
Avellanas: This beach is famous for its good waves and white sand. In addition to its restaurants facing the sea such as Lolas and La Purruja. Google map
Lagartillo: He has several entries, he sent you the easiest one for you to explore and find which one you like the most. Google map
Callejones: When you get to the parking lot, walk to the right and this is the best part. Passing the stones there is a small hidden bay Google map
Playa Blanca: A secret gem. Very quiet beach with natural pools located after Play Negra. Google map

Restaurant  Recommendations

Tamarindo: Costa Juice, Pico Bistro. For dinner, Pangas, Dragonfly, and Flying Bulls, Nauta, Rumors. 
If you are looking for Italian food Fish and Cheese. 
Sushi. Bamboo
Avellanas: Il Rustico Italian food, Blu, D' Calia, La Purruja (in front of the sea), and Lolas (in front of the sea). There is a new outdoor food court located in front of El Rustico with different casual options 

Playa Negra: Villa Deevena is one of our favorite options.

Playa Grande: Pots & Bowls for breakfast and lunch, El Huerto,  Mar Azul for dinner. Padoka breakfast and bakery and Casa Inti 
In Brasilito: Patagonia del Mar, Masala (Indian food)
Flamingo: Surf Box breakfasts and lunches, Coco Loco, La Forqueta

Las Catalinas: Sentido Norte, Pascual.
