Barra Honda National Park offers extraordinary experiences. Hike through the tropical dry forest and take a trip to the underground limestone caves where you will find stalagmites and stalactites. Inside the cave you will also find twisted formations of hardened calcium developing from the water dripping into the caves for thousands of years. In total Barra Hondo consists of a total of 42 caves out of which one is open for visitors. The area has plenty of wild animals including monkeys, agoutis, anteaters and coatis. The minimum age for attending the tour is 10 years old.
